NEWCASTLE UNITED STATEMENT: ALEXANDER ISAK

"We are disappointed to have been alerted to a social media post by Alexander Isak this evening. We are clear in response that Alex remains under contract and that no commitment has ever been made by a club official that Alex can leave Newcastle United this summer.

"We want to keep our best players, but we also understand players have their own wishes and we listen to their views. As explained to Alex and his representatives, we must always take into consideration the best interests of Newcastle United, the team and our supporters in all decisions and we have been clear that the conditions of a sale this summer have not transpired. We do not foresee those conditions being met.

"This is a proud football club with proud traditions and we strive to retain our family feel. Alex remains part of our family and will be welcomed back when he is ready to rejoin his teammates."

"I'm proud to be recognised by my fellow professionals with a place in the PFA Premier League Team of the Season for 2024/25.

"First and foremost I want to thank my teammates and everyone at Newcastle United who has supported me along the way.

"I'm not at the ceremony tonight. With everything going on, it didn't feel right to be there.

"I've kept quiet for a long time while others have spoken. That silence has allowed people to push their own version of events, even though they know it doesn't reflect what was really said and agreed behind closed doors.

"The reality is that promises were made and the club has known my position for a long time. To now act as if these issues are only emerging is misleading.

"When promises are broken and trust is lost, the relationship can't continue. That's where things are for me right now – and why change is in the best interests of everyone, not just myself.”

Sada već bivši vezista Aston Viille Jacob Ramsey novii je igrač Newcastle Uniteda. Ramsey ima 24 godine i u Newcastle Unitedu će nostiti dres sa brojem 41.

Aston Villa je nažalost u problemima zbog glupog PSR pravila ali će joj 43 miliona funti od Newcastle Uniteda za transfer Jacoba Ramseya dobro doći.

Aston Villa i Newcastle United su na prepunom Villa Parku danas remizirali reultatom 0:0. Međutim, Svrake su propustile priliku da dobiju meč jer su domaći igrali sa igračem manje od 66. minuta jer je crveni karton dobio Ezri Konsa zbog prekršaja nad Gordonom kao poslednji igrač odbrane.

Najbolju priliku za gol na meču imao je Anthony Elanga već u trećem miinutu utakmice ali mu je u situaciji jedan na jedan golman domaćih Marco Bizot odbranio udarac. U nastavku te akcije u svom šesnaestercu Kamara faulira Barnesa ali sudija Craig Pawson ne svira jedanesterac za goste. Zanimljivo da ni VAR nije reagovao.

Anthony Elanga je imao i nekoliko dobrih prodora po desnom boku ali ništa više od toga.

Do kraja poluvremena Anthony Gordon je oprobao svoj šut sa distance ali ponovo golman Ville Marco Bizot brani udarac.

U drugom poluvremenu prvu priliku je imala Aston Villa kada je glavom sa pet metara šutirao Boubacar Kamara ali Nick Pope mu brani udarac.

Ključni momenat meča dogodio se u 66. minutu kada je Konsa kao poslednji igrač odbrane zaradio crveni karton zbog prekršaja nad Gordonom.

Očekivalo se da Svrake krenu malo odlučnije ali sem dva pokuašaja ka protivničkom golu od strane Gordona i Barnesa ništa se nije desilo. Ruku na srce, delovalo je da Newcastle United nikada neće postići gol što je još jedan od signala upravi da do kraja prelaznog roka dovedu napadača dok se ne reši situacija sa štrajkačem Isakom.

Meč bez mnogo uzbuđenja. Newcastle Uniited je imao daleko više od igre, mnogo više udaraca na gol protivnika, od 66. minuta i igrača više alii mislim da se igrala još jedna utakmice Svrake ne bi postigle gol. Jednostavno moramo dovestii napadača koji bi ovakve utakmice rešo kada već Isak ne želi više da igra za nas.

Znam da su noge umorne od priprema ali ono padanje preko lopte Barnesa i Gordona je delovalo zaista smeđno. Takođe, izvođenje prekida (kornera i slobodnih udaraca) je takođe izgledalo komično, posebno u onoj situaciji kada su Burn i Schar zasmetali jedno drugom u protivničkom šesnaestercu. Doveli smo trenera i za prekide i videćemo u nastavku sezone kako će to izgledati.

Zameram treneru Eddieu Howeu što je tek u 90. minutu igre uveo još jednog napadača (Osulu) i što je igrao ziheraški fudbal u poslednjih pola sata igre.

Tek sledećeg ponedeljka na našem St James' Parku dočekujemo Liverpool. Tada će i novo pojačanje Jacob Ramsey imati pravo igranja a nadamo se da će možda i Wissa do tada stići u klub.
