Newcastle United je u prijateljskom meču na MKM Stadionu u Hullu pobedio istomenog domaćina rezultatom 0:2. Golove za Newcastle United postigli su Alexander Isak u 31. minutu i Jacob Murphy u 40. minutu utakmice.

Prvi gol pao je u 31. minutu utakmice kada je Jacob Murohy sa desnog boka centrirao na peterac, gde je Alexander Isak reagovao pre svih i desnom nogom sa četiri metra zatresao mrežu Tigrova za 0:1.

Devet minuta kasnije Jacob Murphy je sa ivice šesnaesterca sa desnog boka poslao loptu po zemlji ka protivničkom golu, međutim na nju niko nije startovao i ona završava u mreži domaćih za 0:2.

Šanse za gol imali su i Joelinton i Alexander Isak ali rezultat je ostao nepromenjen. Sa druge strane, igrači Hulla su u tri navrata pretili ali je Nick Pope u dva navrata odlično reagovao, dok je u trećoj rezervni čuvar mreže Newcastle Uniteda Odysseas Vlachodimos takođe odlično reagovao.

U drugom poluvremenu oba trenera su izvršila veliki broj izmena tako da je tempo igre dobrano splasnuo.

Newcastle United je u prijateljskom meču u Adidas trening kampu u Herzogenaurachu u Nemačkoj pobedio Nemačku ekipu Unterhaching rezultatom 3:1. Golove za Svrake su postigli Harvey Barnes, Jacob Murphy i Alexander Isak u prvom poluvremenu.

U nastavku igre Eddie Howe je na teren poslao novih XI igrača. Za tim je debitovao golman Odysseas Vlachodimos koji je primio gol sa bele tačke od Simona Skarlatidisa.

Sada već bivši defanzivac FK Jedinstva iz Uba Miodrag Pivaš potpisao je za Newcastle United. Pivaš ima 19 godina a Svrake će za njegove usluge platiti oko 500.000 funti.

Pivaš je mladi reprezentativac Srbije.

Seniorska ekipa Newcastle Uniteda je danas otišla na mini pripreme u Nemačku u adidas HQ u mestu Herzogenaurach. U Nemačkoj će ekipa ostati nedelju dana. Nema naznaka da li će tamo odigrati neki prijateljski meč.

Ekipa kada se vrati u Englesku imaće nekoliko pripremnih mečeva iza zatvorenih vrata (Gateshead, Leeds United, Burnley).

Newcastle United je na mesto sportskog direktora angažovao Paula Mitchella. Takođe, specijalista za povrede James Bunce je stigao u klub.

Newcastle United are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Mitchell as the club's sporting director.

A former player whose playing career ended in early retirement due to injury, Paul is a well-respected sporting executive with a track record of success.

His non-playing career started in scouting and recruitment, initially at MK Dons, before prominent roles at Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur, RB Leipzig, Red Bull Soccer International and AS Monaco.

His recruitment success as director of scouting and analysis at Southampton helped the club to secure promotion back to the Premier League and become regular competitors in the top half of the table. A unique and progressive recruitment strategy enabled the Saints to outperform many of its rivals despite having a lower budget, and he further cemented his reputation during a successful spell as head of recruitment at Tottenham Hotspur.

Paul joined RB Leipzig in 2018 as head of recruitment and club development, combining traditional scouting with data-driven analysis, before moving into a new role as technical director in Red Bull's global football division.

In 2020, he joined AS Monaco as the club's sporting director, devising and implementing a long-term development plan and transforming the club’s performance and profile, as well as implementing improvements at Belgian club Cercle Brugge, part of the ownership's portfolio.

Paul Mitchell said: "It's with immense pride that I accept the responsibility of being Newcastle United's new sporting director.

"I've seen the recent growth and ambition of the club. This, plus the amazing fan base, made the decision to join an easy one.
