PREMIER LEAGUE ODBILA PREUZIMANjE NEWCASTLEA
CLUB STATEMENT:
"Newcastle United can confirm that the Premier League has rejected a takeover bid made by PCP Capital Partners, the Reuben Brothers and the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF) based on its Owners and Directors test.
"This conclusion has been reached despite the club providing the Premier League with overwhelming evidence and legal opinions that PIF is independent and autonomous of the Saudi Arabian government.
"The club and its owners do not accept that Premier League chief executive Richard Masters and the Premier League have acted appropriately in relation to this matter and will be considering all relevant options available to them.
"Mike Ashley understands fans’ frustrations and would like to reassure them that he has been fully committed to ensuring this takeover process reached completion as he felt it was in the best interests of the club. Mike continues to be fully supportive to Steve Bruce, the players and all the staff and wishes them well for the upcoming season."

JAMAL LEWIS POTPISAO ZA NEWCASTLE UNITED
Sada već bivši ofanzivni levi bek Norwich Citya Jamal Lewis potpisao je za Newcastle United.
Jamal Lewis je reprezentativac Severne Irske, ima 22 godine i sa Svrakama je potpisao ugovor na pet godina.
Visina transfera iznosi oko 15 miliona funti.

CALLUM WILSON I RYAN FRASER NOVE SVRAKE
Newcastle United je danas u svoje redove doveo dva igrača AFC Bournemoutha Calluma Wilsona i Ryana Frasera.
Novi napadač crno-belih Callum Wilson je potpisao četvorogodišnji ugovor sa Newcastle Unitedom. Visina transfera je 20 miliona funti.
Krilni igrač Ryan Fraser je potpisao ugovor na pet godina. Fraser je stigao kao slobodan igrač.

GRNČARI SAVLADALI SVRAKE NA St JAMES' PARKU
NEWCASTLE UNITED - STOKE CITY 0 : 1
NewcastleUnited je ponovo izgubio od ekipe koja se prošle sezone borila za opstanak u drugom rangu takmičenja. Posle teškog poraza od Middlesbrougha pre nekoliko dana rezultatom 5:1, danas je na St James' Parku Stoke City savladao Newcastle United rezultatom 0:1.
Jedini pogodak na meču postigao je Sam Clucas glavom u 19. minutu utakmice.
Najbolju priliku za Svrake imao je Jacob Murphy koji je na predivan pas Barlasera šutirao pravo u gostujućeg golmana Butlanda.

Napisao sam pre neki dan da su u Newcastle Unitedu sva zvona za paniku pritisnuta, što se pokazalo i na ovom meču. Pojačanja su nam preko potrebna.
Danas je Newcastle United poslao dve ponude. Jednu za napadača Bournemoutha Calluma Wilsona u visini od 20 miliona funti a drugu za levog beka Norwicha Jamala Lewisa u visini od 14 miliona funti.
Navodno je i slobodan agent Ryan Fraser juče bio na pregovorima u Newcastle Unitedu. Takođe, spominje se i levi bek Italijanskog Sassuola, Brazilac Rogerio.
Premier League počinje za sedam dana.

BORO PROPISNO ISPRAŠIO SVRAKE
MIDDLESBROUGH - NEWCASTLE UNITED 5 : 1
Igrači Newcastle Uniteda propisno su se obrukali na prijateljskom meču iza zatvorenih vrata protiv Middlesbrougha na Rockcliffe Parku. Naime, igrači u crvenim dresevima su Svrakama dali pet lakih komada. Konačan rezultat glasio je 5:1 za domaće.
Britt Assombalonga je vrlo brzo postigao dva gola, dok je Marcus Tavernier golom povećao prednost svog tima na 3:0.
Na 3:1 smanjio je Allan Saint-Maximin i tim rezultatom se otišlo na poluvreme.
U drugom delu igre vrlo brzo su isključeni Lewis Wing i Jamaal Lascelles zbog koškanja, dok su igrači domaćih golovima Granta Halla i Stephena Walkera sa bele tačke do nogu potukli crno-bele rezultatom 5:1.

Martin Dubravka, Dwight Gayle, Fabian Schar i Matty Longstaff su povređeni, dok sa ekipom danas nije bio ni Jonjo Shelvey.
Ove dve ekipe odigraće još jedan meč i to u ponedeljak 7.9. ovoga puta na Darsley Parku.
U Newcastle Unitedu su pritisnuta sva dugmad za paniku. Sve me ovo podesća na onaj meč protiv Leyton Orienta kada smo izgubili rezultatom 6:1.
